About Us

With 30 years of combined small animal experience, our family of veterinarians had a clear idea of how to build a cage to provide a quality animal housing environment. We knew the cages must be easy to clean and durable enough to withstand the rigors of continuous use.

Cedar River Laboratories was established in 1987. The VersaCage™ System was invented by our veterinarians for use in their own business. Due to the excellent performance of the VersaCage™ System, Cedar River Laboratories began marketing the cages in 1990.

We are dedicated to offering an affordable cage system for use in any animal health or care setting.

Terms & Conditions

All orders must be prepaid in full to be shipped. No orders will be shipped until payment is received. The Buyer, in placing an order, agrees to all Cedar River Laboratories (CRL) Terms and Conditions. All orders are subject to approval and acceptance by CRL. Any change in an order without prior approval will result in a "change order fee" of up to 30%. Issuance of the invoice by CRL is approval of the order and will be a contract subject to the laws of the State of Iowa, between the Buyer and CRL. Any sales, use, or other taxes or duties are the financial responsibility of the Buyer and will be paid directly by the Buyer to the appropriate agency.

Warranty

All VersaCage Systems are guaranteed for Twelve (12) months from the date of purchase against defective material and workmanship, BUT NOT against damage caused by accident, abrasion, misuse, fault, or negligence.

This guarantee is EXCLUSIVE, and we make no other warranty or representation, express or implied to VersaCage Systems, whether as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or any other matter.

We will promptly replace or repair, free of charge, all such defective parts upon notification. This remedy shall be the EXCLUSIVE remedy available against us for the extent of the guarantee period for any defects in the VersaCage Systems or for damage resulting from any cause whatsoever.
